For the fifth year in a row, the Muggiati-Feldman Brothers are recognized by Downbeat Magazine's Annual Student Music Awards. On the 45th edition, published on Downbeat SMA June 2023, Felipe Muggiati-Feldman was the lead tenor sax at New York City All-City High School Latin Ensemble, directed by Alberto Toro, and awarded Latin Group High School Honors Outstanding Performance.

For the fourth year in a row, the Muggiati-Feldman Brothers are recognized by Downbeat Magazine's Annual Student Music Awards. On the 45th edition, published on Downbeat SMA June 2022, Diogo Muggiati-Feldman won the Junior High School Jazz Soloist category playing trumpet and flugelhorn. Felipe Muggiati-Feldman was the lead alto sax at Stanford Jazz Workshop's Miles Ahead Big Band, directed by Mike Galisatus, and awarded Large Jazz Ensemble High School Honors Outstanding Performance.
For the third year in a row, the Muggiati-Feldman Brothers are recognized by Downbeat Magazine's Annual Student Music Awards. On the 44th edition, published on Downbeat June 2021, Diogo Muggiati-Feldman won the Junior High School Jazz Soloist Honor category playing trumpet, as well as the Junior High School Jazz Arrangement Honor category together with Skylar Tang for their arrangement of Misty for a trumpet and flugelhorn quintet. Diogo also participated as 2nd Trumpet in the Asynchronous Large Jazz Ensemble Junior High School winning Easterbrook Discovery School Jazz Band, directed by Nils Johnson.
The Muggiati-Feldman Brothers also were awarded the Asynchronous Large Jazz Ensemble High School Honors Outstanding Performance with Standard Jazz' Miles Ahead Jazz Online Big Band, directed by Mike Galisatus. For that performance, they received their first Downbeat award in a high school category, even though Diogo is still a middle schooler. Felipe played both baritone and soprano saxophones, now having received national recognition on all four major saxophones. Diogo played 2nd Trumpet on that band.
Both Muggiati-Feldman Brothers made it into their respective California All-State Jazz Ensembles. Felipe Muggiati-Feldman made it into the High School group playing tenor sax, while Diogo Muggiati-Feldman made it into the Junior High School ensemble playing Trumpet, for the second year in a row. The brothers congratulate all members of the ensembles, and look forward to recording with them in February.
